She blew it away. She deserves a Grammy Now. I didn't see her other performances.
My husband has been watching it pretty religiously and so I've been watching it and really haven't been paying attention.
This was hard to miss. She was brilliant.

Being 61. And knowing that if I am fortunate to live to 80 I'm going to scare little children. Sometime between now and then I'm going to have my drivers license taken away. At some point you simply take deaths hand and he pulls the curtain. This is very hard for someone that gave up risks, joys, highs, because he thought he was going to live forever.

Back After a Much Needed Time Out

it ended up she needed to move in with her mother for financial and personal safety issues.

Why is it everytime.....
by WANTMOMBACK in..i speak to my mother about any type of current event she tells me how the end of the world is coming.
she always says that people do not care for one another anymore and tells me that is how the end has been described as b eing.
it is driveing me crazy!!

I had gotten sooooo tired of hearing all this bad news. After reading some posts here about this very topic regarding "things are soo bad" I googled positive news, good news etc and came up with similar listings.
There are So many good things happening out there.
To start with:
In the 14th century the Black Death killed millions of people. Millions! Now? Our technology is so effing brilliant, that when it struck in Nambia in 1999, how many had died? By the time this article was written 3.

Point being, I see that the world has made so much progress. As far as the lack of love between people.
A point can be made about how far we have come in the last century. We may have a long way to go. But there was a time when women had no rights and both women and children were the property of Men. Now, women, in many countries, though not all, have the privilege to vote, hold office and own land, as well as know that their bodies are their own. Children are not things any more, they are little human beings who require love and affection and don't deserve to be beaten just because their dad "owns" them.
Try not to let it get to you. But if you can arm yourself with knowledge before your next conversation, you might be able to find yourself a few good conversation Stoppers yourself.

What Religion Are You?
by choosing life ini know a lot of posters are not religious and others feel no need to attend a church.
but, for those that do attend somewhere, i was curious as to what type of church they chose after leaving the jws and what attracted them to that particular church or religion?
if you were not raised as a jw, did you return to the church you were raised in?

why did they not add me? (can't think of what else to call this thread)
by BlackSwan of Memphis inwhen i joined up with myspace i tried to add a person that i was friends with in highschool as a friend.
it was never accepted.. recently i tried with someone else, and it wasn't accepted.. on the other hand, there are 50 people who have accepted and i enjoy reading their blogs and messaging with them.. so why does it bug me that these 2 other people haven't accepted?.
do they hate me?

At this point in time I'd say you're being Neurotic.
